{Relaxing at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club lagoon.}
I’m baaaaack! So sorry for neglecting my little blog for so long. Here are some highlights of our week in gorgeous Oahu:
{At the Paradise Cove Luau. This was such a fun night full of traditional Hawaiian food, mai tais, and watching stunning Hawaiian girls dance and entertain the crowd. I would highly suggest this luau to anyone visiting Oahu. White dress from here.}
{We picked up some snorkel gear at our hotel’s gift shop and swam in our hotel’s lagoon. Even though I’m deathly afraid of sharks I figured they aren’t likely to be stalking the Marriott’s guests in the lagoon so I got over my fear. It was really fun to see different fish and marine life. Black cover-up from here.}
{We stopped at the Dole Pineapple Plantation and took the train ride tour. It was a pretty place but I wouldn’t suggest going out of your way to check this place out. We stopped on our way to the North Shore. Striped dress from here, necklace here and sunglasses here.}
{Dole Whip at the Pineapple Plantation. This was by far the highlight of our stop at Dole. We got a pineapple vanilla swirl and it was heavenly.}
{Enjoying the crashing ocean, surfers and afternoon breeze at the North Shore.}
{More lounging around at our hotel beach.}
{We took a long walk past all the hotels one day and found a natural lagoon and this handsome sea turtle napping on the warm sand. We didn’t notice him right away…he blended into the rocks. He opened his eyes as we took pics with him but was entirely unfazed by our presence and just went back to sleep.}
{Of course Jon needed a picture with this guy too!}
{We spent 9/11 at Pearl Harbor. It was a really moving experience that I think everyone should get the chance to see.}
{The memorial on top of the sunken U.S.S. Arizona.}
{View of the beautiful sunset from our balcony.}

Great pics! Looks so beautiful!
