Saturday night was spent with great friends, amazing food and refreshing cocktails. We whipped up this delicious, low-calorie drink and it was too good not to share! Here’s the recipe:
Basil Lime Vodka Freeze (Makes 2-4 drinks depending on size of glasses)
Peel two limes and put the limes in blender without the rind (may be easier to slice the peeled limes before blending) 1/4 cup agave nectar
1/8 cup basil leaves
3-4 cups of ice
8 oz club soda
Blend in a blender until it has a slushy consistency
Pour mixture in glasses, leaving room for the vodka
Pour the desired amount of vodka in each glass and stir
Serve and Enjoy!
This cocktail was so fresh and flavorful. Next time I’m going to use mint leaves instead of basil and it will be probably be similar to a slushy mojito.
